Dumbledore's aliveqem_chibatiJuly 20 2005, 12:47:21 UTC
I still think Dumbledore is alive. When he was buried, all we saw was flames and Harry thought he saw a phoenix. Do you think Dumbledore can transform into a pheonix?
Really has me worried, because doesn't that imply that they don't change?
Don't have a copy of the book on me, and so far I've only had time to read it once, but I strongly recall someone (Lupin, perhaps) telling Harry that a Patronus can change if someone has a serious life-changing experience.
But wasn't Andromeda on the outs with her family, after marrying a Muggleborn? I very much doubt that Narcissa could put her up to anything, much less a plot to replace (and presumably imprison or kill) her own daughter!
Yes, well, even I, with my liking for conspiracy theories and complicated hidden explanations, did find it hard to fully believe that Tonks was Narcissa (or anyone really) all the year round, tempted by the idea as I am! And yes, that comment more or less shoots down this part of the theory.
But I'm still not fully certain that the person who appeared so conveniently on the seventh floor when Harry had cornered Draco in the Room of Requirement neccessarily "was" Tonks - though I have to admit that she probably. But there still could be "some" twists! :-)
