For all logical reasons, marijuana shouldn't be illegal. I would say that it is hard for any person to argue that it should be illegal using scientific evidence and other comparisons. However, I've thought about why it might be a good thing for it to be illegal, even if I don't agree with it. Just because it can be said and proven that cigs and alcohol is worse, doesn't mean that marijuana should be legal. Maybe it's the other way around, and alcohol and cigs should be illegal. Just because one thing is not as bad as another does not mean it is in fact better. In regards to there being a law about it, we (people who think it should be legalized) are in a minority. In this country, where the idea is to have the majority create the laws, the law is indeed correct. The majority of people do not want marijuana legalized. The majority of the people DO want alcohol legal, and there is plenty of debate about the tobacco industry. Now, I'm all in favor of trying to educate the rest of the society about marijuana, undeducated people are not ( ... )

I think it should all be legalized. Making alcohol and cigarettes illegal would just create one more underground market, more crime, and more loss of money to try and stop something that just simply cannot be stopped ( ... )

Thanks alot Becky. You're totally right on the sex ed thing, I remember in middle school they were basically just like HAVING SEX=DEATH. They told us nothing of value, and flat out lied to us saying that the little aids viruses would swim through the holes of a condom to get you. I wish I had been more informed back then so I could have laughed in that teachers face and called her a liar ( ... )
