Wow! it has already been 6 weeks since I last posted. Time flies when you are ....
Well.... I have had some good time and some sad times, but overall I am really happy with how things are going right now.
School:

I had a really bad day yesterday. I have been sick for a long time, since early December, taken days off, gone to doctor several times, am on third or fourth round of antibiotics for bronchitis. So, I took Wed and Thurs off to go to doctor again... and rest. School was rough, kids were crazy, full moon definitely in affect ( Read more... ) -

Three years
David and I have known each other three years. Never meant to fall in love, but I did, God help us. He still has serious trust issues and I am at a loss to know what else to do to help him. I LOVE him and want to wait ...

Testing Break

STANFORD 10
In additon to TAKS tests, our districts administers Stanford 10 testing. It is a norm referenced achievement test that is timed. TAKS is not timed. My students have trouble with timed tests because we work oall year to get them to take their time. Assaulted at school
I never thought I would have to press charges against one of my students, but I did yesterday.
Back story: Students are not to bring games, mp3 players phones or other electronic devices to school. IF they do and get caught with them in the classroom, the teacher is to turn it in to the office. I have often given my students second chances by ( Read more... ) -
Brief Update
I keep telling myself posting a brief update is better than nothing at all. So, I brought home some sort of respiratory bug over the winter break and have not fully shook it. I thought it was gone a couple days ago, but the coughing is back with a vengeance today. YUCK ( Read more... )
