On Sunday my fighter came over to try on his new tunic. To his credit, he is very happy to have me make stuff for him....but He didn't like the fit and wanted it bigger...was worried about the embroidery and had troubles when he put on a belt and looked at the hem line ( Read more... )

Almost done with my cyclas & white linen kirtle. I don't really know if it was called a kirtle. The year is 1280s, was it called a kirtle? Since it's not laced, I may have been using the wrong term all this time. Will have to double check the Houston Book again. OK, she favors the word Tunic. I'll have to go back and change the words.
