That's right...

In most of the rental properties I've been in, I've usually expressed a desire to lease in the long term - minimum two years, preferably longer provided my income and life in general has been stable. I'm nicely settled in Melbourne, and whilst Camberwell has its drawbacks I am quite prepared to stay where I am. Instead, we're probably going to have to uproot, pack things up, and move somewhere else, which will be yet another unneeded expense in time (principally) and money. I don't want to have to organise all this just now, thankyou.

For example, one of the things that will have to be done is getting asmodel's piano back to her...

Which won't be terribly easy for me to store as I plan on moving in the next couple of months anyway. Whoops.

Of course, I will inform my mother that she *will* do me a favour for once in her life and look after it since she lives around the corner from you guys.
