Thanks so much for the update. The communication between Ryan and Sandy resonates particularly. You've shown the best of that dynamic. No matter how compromised Ryan is, Sandy is still his beacon of hope. What is so poignant is how deeply Sandy suffers because Ryan is so scared and in so much agony. He experiences the same pain along with the realization that he can't ease it as a professional should be able to, but also because he probably doubts if he can provide the comfort Ryan needs with emotional support too. As he looks at a kid who's so broken, and hurt more than anyone Sandy's ever seen, Sandy has to wonder where to begin and how to be enough.

I'm really glad that you like my communication between Sandy and Ryan. I do love the two together. God, I could hit Josh for not giving them more scenes together in the show.

The ones we got were usually pure gold, but not because of any "writing." What made them powerful, moving and so lasting was what Ben and Peter put into each one.

Trying again -- yes, definitely a Poor Ryan! moment, and yet, I kept thinking, "oh, poor Sandy - that has got to be so hard to witness."

Yeah, LJ can be so irritating sometimes but it looks like it now likes you! Thank you for withstanding LJ and still giving a comment even if before it didn't work.

It must be hard for a parent to go through anything lke this especially in such silly circumstances. I mean, trust Ryan and Seth to go driving on a steep cliff during a storm.
