Ok peeps. I'm out of practice hiking, it's true. The first at home year we hiked some but after the *ccine I had chest pains pretty regular so I did not feel the need to tax my heart. We just had the *vid and are using our trip to get fresh air, long walks and rest. Marvelous place. We explore new spots and re-visit some favorites. It's a lovely relaxing time.

My birthday. We found online the Adelman peony garden that is not too far away. We love gardens and have much enjoyed this outdoor viewing/walking sort of thing during pandemic times. Since outdoors is deemed "safer". This one is just a little north of Salem and was free to look until June 15th. Almost all are blooming. There's a couple of types ( Read more... )

Thursday
On a trip during a covid lull. We stop in The Dalles for lunch at Cousin's. It was great. We get to the lodge outside of La Grande and get in a couple of soaks before bedtime. We eat charcuterie at the Thermal Cafe.
