i had my final driving lesson today, which is funny. why? because i drive on my own time.

now, all i have to do is make an appointment with one of those dmv people and pray that i don't get caught with the trooper's pants around his ankles again.

mum and cathy left yesterday for their vacation time. i thought "i am free to as i please with this three-floor empty casa!" as i was taking out the trash (something i should have been doing), i twisted my ankle. now i am confined to bed rest for about a week (long enough for them to return to this place as they left it).
