Temple U?

Hello fellow vegans and vegetarians,

I'll be attending Temple U this upcoming fall, and being new to the area, don't know of any vegan/vegetarian places. Suggestions?

New friends are always welcome :)

you definitely posted in the right place. I'm not currently living in philly so I don't feel comfortable since my sense of direction is pretty bad. I hope someone else does help you though, there are so many delicious places in Philly!

I go to Temple! My favorite places are:

New Harmony- amazing chinese food in Chinatown

Gianna's- Vegan junk food on 5th st. right off of south

Maoz- falafel, there's one on south and another somewhere else..

Govinda's- on broad and south

and Horizon's- which is a more fancy place, also off of south.

And a lot of places in the city are pretty vegan/ vegetarian friendly.

If you like chinese food(who doesn't right?) there is :

Kingdom of Vegitarian: In china town like five stores from the chinatown bus.

And

Golden Empreiss(sp): They do conventional and Veg chinese food. That is right off of south too If you turn at the t-moblie store you can't miss it, there is normally a basketed bike right out front of it leaning on the building.

there is also great places in chinatown that sell veg mock meats drit cheap.

Aha, thank you! I went to an awesome chinese food place that was vegetarian and I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was called! Btw, I live in NJ, but I have a few friends in Philly and one of them went to Temple :)
