I am thinking that Sarah Palin is going to be problematic in more ways then are visible right now. Seriously. I feel pretty certain that McCain will kick it in the next 4 years and she is just not the kind of leader that I want to see with power. the gym
I started this cool plan of making it to the gym twice a week. Clearly, that is NOT enough to make a hugh impact but it is what I can commit to right now. So I hop on my bike, pedal to Bally's, lift, and pedal home. It's 1 1/2 hours door to door and as long as the weather stays decent, I think it'll be a good thing. so I am done. Essentially I mean, with my Nurse Practitioner Program----- I have a few random tasks to complete, but my final is complete, my projects are awaiting submission and I am D-O-N-E. I am kind of in shock.

bravery
So I was at the shore this week with my entire family. It's been a year since I had top surgery and I am well healed (except for the clearly visible scars across my chest).

chaotic ramblings
I am at work, the unit secratary here, nancy, makes me nuts. She always fucks up pronouns (still), is loud, assuming, and generally pretty ignorant. AND Dr. W is here too, and in his own way he is super passive aggressive and annoying. Between the 2 of them, there is nowhere to hide that I am not bombarded in some way ( Read more... ) -

Her name is Mari Lena born 5/10 at 3:18PM. 9lbs, 2 oz.
mom and baby are both doing well.
I am in awe of Erin and her ability to give birth the this baby. She worked harder to overcome her fear and pain better then any person I have even known. I am still amazed......

so we are waiting. Erin is 6 days late and super stressed about it. She's not stressed about the birth, but instead she is stressed about chipping away at her time off of work- before the baby is actually here. I understand that, I can see why that fucks with her head ( Read more... )
