So today, we did some more work with the photographer doing a fantastic project (you can see it here: www.myrightself.org ). He is a queer medical student that has been working with 5-6 transfolk here in Philly to document their transition/stories. it's real.....
So it is real. I am actually working my last shift as an RN. I am working my last night shift and I am working for the last time, likely, in bone marrow transplant. It feels good- it feels kind of surreal. For 10 years when some one has asked me "what do you do...." my reply has been simply "I am a nurse, I work in critical care". No so much ( Read more... ) -

I am incredibly frustrated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as they have been fucking with my ability to sit for Board Certification. I am in the process of contacting the PA governor's office for help with this monster organization. I am tring to be Zen about it for the moment, I can't do anything about it working nights, over ( Read more... ) -
pumpkin patch
We took Mari to The Jersey Shore this past weekend and stopped at a farm stand where she was completely enthralled with the pumpkins- which made for some pretty cute pics
