Sweet... Any particular Buffy/Angel episode? *is curious because she is a Buffy fan, if not a fan of that particular pairing*

In the third session episode "Helpless" Angel gives Buffy "Sonnets from the Portuguese" by Elizabeth Barrett Browning for her birthday. I believe they are having a romantic little picnic or something at the start of the espiode, she attacks him with a french roll and he gives her the book.

I was a complete Buffy nerd for the longest time. Old habits and old loves die hard.

Yeah, I've been a Buffy nerd for about four years but I'm one who started with Season 4 and didn't go back. Now I kinda wanna watch the earlier episodes... But I'm BuffySpike shipper so watching them may cause me immense pain. >>;;

...I've memorized most things from Buffy, just not seasons 1-3 or I woulda instantly known what you were talking about. >>;;

Isn't it odd what people find exciting and attractive about Buffy? It's different for almost everyone. I absolutely adored seasons 1-3. I'm completely the opposite, all my random trivia comes from the very beginning and I watched the ending only with a half-peaked interest. I wonder how much of that has to do with ships.

I started watching during the seventh season, but got to watch the show on DVDs and reruns from the very beginning.

Sorry, I'm incredibly nerdy. This little discussion makes me want to go run over to some of those Buffy communities I have long ago left and see what is going on.

I have a book just like that that I bought at a Church's second hand book sale. It's a book of poems from 1860 that was given to a girl called Claire by her brother Charlie. The poems aren't necessarily the most spectacular, but I love the notes written in the margins.

Also, in my mind at least, it's Teddy who found the book with the note.
