so, last time i posted, i was about to rip up the carpet where bitch-cat had peed. i got that project done, and left the floor bare, save for the carpet tack strips on the edges. i scrubbed it with bleach, then a few days later i scrubbed it with ammonia on the advice of my friend who lays carpet for a living. i don't know how you can get an ( Read more... )

i am a huge slacker. apparently i lack 12 hrs for my associates degree. but in order to get an AA from hcc, i need 15 hrs, including a math class that is actually worth a credit... which means i have to take a placement test, and place into a class the is worth a credit. otherwise i'll be doomed to remedial math for who knows how long... moving right along with the pending nuptials... we've decided to go to key west and do a "commitment ceremony" on the beach. it's legally recognized there, so there will be an "officiant" and a certificate thing that states that we are officially "together." not that we're not officially together now, but we'll have "the piece of paper!"
