For whatever reason, it is socially acceptable for a complete stranger to refer to a woman as having a "cute belly" is when the woman is pregnant. At any other time, describing a woman's physique would probably be considered rude (or lewd). It's odd how pregnancy somehow opens the door to all sorts of personal comments... -
celebrity (?) encounter
On my walk to work on Friday morning (from Grand Central Station), I passed within a few inches of Geraldo Rivera. He was being filmed at the time and I'm hoping like hell I wasn't caught on tape. I'd hate to be on TV somewhere on one of his programs... -

the madness continues
Tonight's sourdough adventure: sourdough banana bread muffins. This is truly a wonderful thing, as it combines my current obsession with sourdough with my ongoing obsession with muffins :) . Too bad I won't be sampling them until breakfast tomorrow... -

Yesterday evening, a coworker and I took a cab over to the hotel where our holiday party was being held. As we were inching along 5th Avenue at no more than 5mph our taxi hit the cab in front of it. truth is stranger than fiction
So today at work I was looking through file histories. Basically, a file history is all the correspondence that takes place regarding a patent between the Patent and Trademark Office and the attorney/firm prosecuting (filing) the patent.
