that's amazing you can taste all those flavors and assign the points that are close to what other critics are assigning! what's even more amazing, you seem to remember all the tastes of all the wines you've ever tasted!

my fiance and I are also wine enthusiasts, but we've only gotten as far as knowing what we like and what we don't like. we do tastes some different flavors when we visit the different vineyards here, but we're hesitant to be vocal about it just in case we're wrong, lol.

there is nothing wrong with voicing your opinion. just remember, de gustibus non est disputandum. in matters of taste, there is no dispute.

hey, it seems like it was quite a tasting!
troplong mondot~ must have been nice. it's quite a wine, and considering that it's a great vintage, it must have been even better!

tastings at the wine exchange here in orange are always educational, and relatively cheap too! this one only cost about $47, which is not bad considering the troplong mondot alone is around $280.

I wish I could be as much of a savvy oenophile as you are! Have you ever considered contributing to Wine Spectator? Or would you rather keep wine strictly as a hobby?

i'm not sure i would enjoy being a professional critic because then i would always have a target on my back. the free wine would be nice tough. ;)
