Having a mostly quiet week here.  J had an awful upset stomach Sunday and Monday, though was fine (aside from not wanting to eat all that much).  The weather wasn't so great either, so no wandering around the park, really.  We did a lot of reading and now sometimes J will continue sitting with his books and 'read' them himself.  N gave us a bunch ( Read more... )

I started a big long post a few days ago but never got around to finishing it and now too much time has gone by and I'm too lazy to try to pick up where I left off.  So (in bullet point):

Really lovely day yesterday!  Though I admit we were exhausted by the time we got home.  The kids and i took a taxi (and D cycled) to the train station down in Malcha.  The old train station in town still exists, but hasn't been used in years, though the old tracks have been made into a kind of boardwalk/cycle path.  We made the train in good time ( Read more... )
