Lovely day yesterday if you overlook all the stress about the cavity and potentially other stuff the dentist might discover when he x-rays the other side of my mouth. In fact, I was incredibly stressed Thursday night and took forever to fall asleep. I'd gone to babysit for a friend, which was a nice distraction, and even though I was home by 10 ( Read more... ) -

Back from the dentist. Turns out there's nothing where I was feeling something, but an existing filling needs to be replaced and I had a huge cavity on top! Not sure how this happened as I brush and floss religiously and have been much better about going to the dentist regularly. Starting to have serious doubts as the dentist usually examines my ( Read more... ) -

Today I finally went to see someone else I haven't seen since 2009. He's a middle aged crusty bookseller I've known for 20 years - I used to sit in his shop and read for hours until he informed me that I was reading his books for free and should at least be tidying the shelves a bit before I sit down and make myself comfortable.
