One great thing about New England weather is the effects of relativity. Because it's so cold all the time, I think it's amazing out when it's 45 degrees in the beginning of February. Then, I go outside in sweatpants, a t-shirt, and flip flops, with damp hair, and I don't get cold.

A kid at my school started a DC++ hub thing for us to file share just on the Tufts network. I signed up for it, but I get all freaked out about lawsuits and whatnot when downloading things is this easy. Tech-savvy friends: is this safe, etc. to use?

I've been feeling sick on and off for a long time, and it's starting to get obnoxious. This morning I had a really bad stomach ache and was going to go to class anyway, but on the way there I just felt like I couldn't even walk so I didn't. they're putting new grass on the quad across from my building, and right now they're fertilizing it. the first thing i thought when i went outside today was "wow it smells like home." oh ptown, i miss you.

it's warmer here than in petaluma. i win.

my current favorite thing about going to college in new england is sledding down the ice-covered president's lawn on a cafeteria tray at midnight. i like winter.
