That is a great idea. I don't know that I've ever told him how I got the money. He's 20 now, so I think I can reveal the truth about the Tooth Fairy! LOL! I did convince him, as a kid, that tooth fairies work in "districts" when he asked why he got so much more money for teeth when he was at his dad's! But that's another story for another prompt.

Quick thinking! I had to leave and I.O.U. once and another time, threw it on the floor the morning after, pretending that it must have fallen when my kid woke up, because I forgot to put it there during the night.

Ha! I remembering forgetting one night, too, until like 3 in the morning when I woke up suddenly remembering! Luckily I got it in there.

Oh yeah, it's a hilarious memory! I realized as I was telling my spouse I was going to write about it, that she'd never heard the story, so we had a great time reliving it as I wrote last night.

I'm glad too! It was definitely the weirdest request I have ever made for money. I have had some characters for neighbors and this guy was no exception.
