OMG! I'm immortal in google maps! or at least my van is... I'm in it at the time, but you can't see me...So a few months ago I saw this van with funky dome shaped equipment on top and I thought to myself, or maybe a passenger, I can't remember, "I bet that is a camera and they are doing a street survey of san jose!, how cool is that?" Life, death, the failure of the education system
I'm laying in bed thinking about death, (I guess its part of the grieving process) and I start to wonder about the legal issues of my death. If they do hundreds of thousands of ddollars worth of treatment trying to stop it, like if I get cancer or something and I still die, will that become a huge pile of debt that my wife is responsible for? Online Memorial
The Fandomonium website has been restored to functional condition and a forum opened as a memorial for Mom. I'll be posting photos and stories and such... If anyone else knew her, thats the place to go and post your anecdotes. She was always rather fond of anecdotes. I think I was raised on them the way most children are raised on nursery rhymes ( Read more... ) -
And her stench lives on...
I keep opening bins of her stuff (recently to get tools and such for building the garden planters Aimee and I are working on) and being reminded of her smell. Its the wreak of her cigarette smoking that eventually resulted in the poor health that killed her. Everything of hers always smelled of it. She will be missed
March 1st, 2007: Marguerite Ellen Holt, my mother, passed away. It was all a little sudden for me. She seemed to have passed away quietly, in bed. I got a call saying she was sick and if I could come and help convince her to see her doctor about it and by the time I got up there, she had already passed away.
