Just some thoughts on the Inauguration this morning...
Obama was flawless.  Not quite on par with Garrison Keillor , but I could happily listen to him talk for quite a while. That man sure can speak and he's just dripping with charisma.  On the cynical side... the same thing could be said equally  for the Ayatollah Khomeini, Fidel Castro, Mohandas

and I love poetry!!!! Painful. No rhythm no evocative imagery..i didn't get it.

and ya .. the benediction lost me at that point.

that poor woman should obviously stick to writing poetry that we can choose to read or not, rather than ever reading it (I actually left the room for that).
I was sort of bemused by Reverend Lowery, but tolerant because he seemed like someone's funny grandfather :)
