Ron decided to bring Jamie the cat down from Alpena. Seizing on the opportunity, I carried Jamie up four flights of stairs into Mom's office at the University of Michigan Law School. Great photographs involve a fusion between technical prowess and unique subject matter. A blurry shot of an interesting subject and a sharp shot of nothing don't qualify as good photos. One would think that powdered detergent clearly marked "formulated for cold water" would actually perform in cold water. On the way to class this morning, I noticed that one of the traffic lights at the corner of Platt and Packard had blown down, smashing in the middle of the intersection. There were city workers running around everywhere; you'd have thought that someone had died. This just affirms one of my great fears - being impaled by an wayward traffic light. ( Read more... )

I'm new to this whole LiveJournal thing. I like the concept, but I don't really like the structure. As far as online communities go, Facebook's got the design down.
