i think think think based on what happened to a certain RP that if you talk to DW and say like "hey got a community i want to move it help me??" they'll supply invite codes BUT i'm not sure. so there's always that.

i think if it was easily explained in a post or something it might be okay?? but shit it took me a good year to figure all that shit out SO

Well, I'm fine with this personally. But maybe that's just because I already have a dreamwidth account ohohoho. And as for free accounts not lasting forever, there's a comm over there anyways that's always offering free codes for everyone who wants to move so I don't see that as a problem at least.

i would love for the tcg to move to dreamwidth; if it stays on lj i don't see myself continuing. also i've got a pretty huge hoard of invite codes and i wouldn't mind handing them over to people when registration closes again.

to be honest, i'm one of the few who, albeit bothered by lj's style change, still have a huge attachment to the site and frequent it a lot more than dreamwidth. i'm willing to go along to try out the dreamwidth plan if the most of photographs are support it, but i'm thinking most people, hate it or love it, will stay here for the other comms they're watching or journals they're keeping. so for me, it's just a matter of how much i already have on this site and just plain preference.

but if things are going to move faster in dreamwidth, i'm willing to give it a shot nonetheless, though i don't exactly think that's the root problem here. > <;;

i'm for moving to dreamwidth, but there would have to be some kind of pool of invite codes that can be given to current members who don't make accounts before january/new members who don't have dw accounts (you probably already thought of that though!)

dw has always seemed like a better site overall, and now that lj is pretty much sinking itself it does seem like an excellent time to move
