past my bedtime
Oh, I am wiped out. Starting to feel it. It can't possibly be only 8:30. That is not right.
Bought an armload of books for R today and some shoes for L. Wrapped 4 shoeboxes in white contact paper for a school project. Made lunches, took R to and from school, turned in some stuff, and met his music teacher.
That's a full day, right? -
Hot Dish is broken
All the air has been sucked out of my sails just now. I called my best favorite family restaurant to see about a birthday dinner for R, and found out that they sold the place and will be closing on the 16th. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was so incredulous that I had to confirm that I was in fact calling Hot Dish on 65th in Ravenna. After next week it will ( Read more... ) -
the week in review
Here's R's first day in real kindergarten. Full time school is old hat this year, but he was still pretty nervous. Here he is apprehensive right after the bell rang to go inside and start the day and everyone bolted off the playground and he realized "yikes, this is it..."

Right now is one of those times where I'm anxious but trying to pretend that I'm not because I know that in the grand scheme it's just school, it's just kindergarten but education is of such importance to a person and I don't want to freak it up and school doesn't even start for another five days and I'm already ramping up the jitters ( Read more... ) -

I don't know what's in the air, but TWO of my irl/online friends were interviewed yesterday for two different, huge, national tv shows to be aired at some future date.
Things come in threes, right? Who's next? Did I miss someone else who taped a big show yesterday? (looks around)
