If NT180 is expensive, prepare yourself for an expensive life in the US. On average, the cost of dinner in college is around US$7-9 ($210-270). Lunch is arond $6.50. And some how, the college has figured out breakfast should be $6.
That isn't that expensive. If you go to restaurant like Friday's in the US and order a steak, the average price is $14.99. If that is already expensive, you still have to add in 8% tax and 10-15% tip. Do the math!!!
well NZ is no exception .. a bottle of coke costs 50NT ; a large fries costs 60NT, a coffee (NOT STARBUCKS ) costs 60NT , STARBUCKS COSTS 140NT, a bus ticket cists 40NT , a plate of indian fried rice costs 400NT , A shirt costs 400NT ( i am talking of the cheapest one mind you)... this place is friggin expensive my friends.. so in case u r comming here , let me know.. i can take care of ur food and accomodation for free ...
180 NT for spaghetti isn't that expensive. Besides, you didn't "instinctively" take a step towards the door...you knew exactly what you were doing. Ugh, that first paragraph sounds like something one would see in Taipei Times.

(Phew... at least you didn't say China Post!)
Well, ok, 180 NTD isn't THAT expensive, but I still feel ripped-off. And I can't believe Kim wants to go there again today. Maybe it's just me...

Look, I even gave the resturant a 0.5 bonus! Now, a hater wouldn't do that, right?
