this is honestly one of the most beautiful fics I have ever read. The details/descriptions are breathtaking. I'm going to re-read it now because I don't think one time through does it justice... I think it needs to be read first for the great story then again, at least one more time, just to take in the beauty of the words.

I hope you find some relief soon. If you can write like this when you are feeling so much pain I can only imagine what you could write if you were feeling 100%. This topic is so interesting...I've never heard of it before. Can I ask if you wrote Mike's feelings towards it based on your own?

I based Mike's feelings on his synesthesia somewhat on my own, but with differences - mainly that his is permanent and long-term (mine wasn't). But since we both got ours in car crashes some of his feelings about that were similar to mine. I.E. people being uncomfortable with it and pitying you. But like Mike, I really actually liked having that extra sense, and I was sad to lose it when it faded away.

Amazing update! Amazing ending. Not gonna lie, I think this last part is my favorite for the awesome Donna scene (the failed "high-fiving Harvey" attempt was the best), the "Mike imagines what a relationship contract with Harvey would look like" scene, the "Suave Men in their Natural Habitat" one (I LOLed for real) and of course, the sweet sweet Harvey/Mike love declaration. Also, the last line was absolutely lovely.

So thanks a lot for sharing and I'll keep an eye open for the Harvey's POV fic. And your other fics, obviously. :)

Thank you! Donna is a BAMF for sure - So much of the story is just Mike and Harvey, which was intentional, but I couldn't help slipping some bonus Donna in there because she's awesome. :)

Also, there should totally be some breathtaking cinematography of Harvey Spector included in the next Planet Earth DVD boxed set. Yes/Yes?

This is hands-down one of my favorite Suits fics. I don't think I really have the words to describe how much I love it. And, yes please, Harvey POV at some point. :)

Also, this was my favorite sentence: Mike’s shoes are tread-worn pops of color in the otherwise uninterrupted black parade of Harvey's Italian leather, happy punctuation that says you’re not alone here. I have a little bit of an obsession for shoes and what they say about the people wearing them. :)

Me too! I love looking at people's shoes, and I just totally see Mike as being the kind of guy who has like 12 pairs of Chuckies in various colors and stages of wear. XD
