I just turned off the facebook note importer, so my posts here will no longer feed straight to my profile there. This may actually encourage me to write more often since fewer people will see it. I did start writing the other night, but not anything publicly available. We'll see, but it was actually kind of useful and therapeutic. I'd forgotten

Hmmm...I just got the urge to do some serious writing. Maybe it's the fact that I've spent the last hour catching up on a friend's blog, or the fact that I've been thinking a lot about life lately. We'll see if this results in actual journal postings in the near future...

It's ridiculous how one day of not having school commitments turns me right back into a night owl. Here I am, sitting up at 2:30 writing away on my paper. It's one of *those* nights. The kind where you stay at the office all night, and hope that sometime tomorrow you can make use of the couch for a nap. This whole thesis thing is not all it's cracked up to be. Oh well, at least I'm not hungover like I was this morning trying to get work done. It makes things difficult.

Just so you can all be proud of me... I watched the second half of S2 of Battlestar Galactica in a single sitting yesterday, after watching an episode of commentary! So I've spent about 5 hours today writing and debugging code, which is a lot for me. I just wanted to point out that I figured it out and got my code to work, so yay me!
