I've been very good about not checking email and getting on bad websites or listening to distracting podcasts.  All this thinking has left me with a few thoughts and things to note:

It's 3:14 so I can't resist posting.  I went out tonight with a bunch of friends because it was one friends 37th birthday (old I know).  And I'm just shocked that even though I just wanted to go out and have a good time I just can't live down the "Daddy D" image.  I had to take care of everyone all night.  Came home so one friend could pass out on ( Read more... )

So I went in for surgery and was on the table ready to go when my doctor checked my progress and decided I didn't need surgery. A little dazed I took it in stride. But so as not to disappoint, I do have a few pictures behind the cut.

And yes yes, I know how emo the scar looks.

Surgery #2 on my hand today. The goal is to scrape away at all the scar tissue that is linking my tendons together and hopefully provide some more room for the veins, arteries, and nerves to regrow ( Read more... )

So I didn't pass the algebra comprehensive exam. They said I didn't do bad, just not enough to pass. The other three all had conditional passes. To me that means the exam was crazy hard. And I actually feel proud of what I did. They said they think I'll probably pass next time ( Read more... )
