Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

For reasons I am under secrecy about, I got a copy of the book yesterday at 6:48 pm, read over 200 pages last night, and then passed out. Then I read all day and finished the book at about 6:48pm. I would usually take my time reading it, but it seemed so important to read it before someone gave it away.

My commentary on the book...obviously don't click if you haven't finished it yet )

ohhhh my gosh, you are so right about The Prince's Tale. Up until this point my favorite chapter in any of the books was Snape's Worst Memory...well I guess we know why now, huh? That was completely heart-wrenching. I'm gonna go read it again.

I'm glad the Malfoy's switched sides-ish. And Kreacher. Fight! Fight! Fight! The end kinda reminded me of LotR, when the Eagles came, except this time it was like...everyone.

As for how Harry died and came back...Since a part of Voldemort's soul accidentally took up residency inside of Harry, and since Harry faced his death knowingly and out of a desire to protect those he loved, he didn't really die: Voldemort killed a piece of his own soul, the one in Harry; that was the baby-thing in King's Cross. It died. And then of course Harry's sacrifice worked like his mom's had done, but for everyone.

I think I'll write more notes in my journal haha. gotta get it all out.

Oh yes...The Prince's Tale, we romantics are all the same, no? And of COURSE it's lord of the rings all over again, but I think it was a little more like the hobbit in which EVERYONE showed up also. There are no more original ideas are there?

Teh movie....had best be crunk as shit.
