In Which a Cake is Covered in Fondant

I baked all day today, and it was absolutely lovely.  I also made two trips to Publix after I discovered (after leaving the store) that the icing I'd bought (I know, I know...Store-bought icing?!) was prepared on the same surface as tree nuts--Josh is allergic to tree nuts.  Let's not kill the boyfriend.  So I drove back to Publix and bought ( Read more... )

yay ali!!!! that looks so cool:-) and i'm so proud that you finally get to say you have fondanted (how does one conjugate fondant?) a cake!

I'm not sure either :) I use "fondanted" also even though I'm not even sure you can verb the word "fondant." Whatevs, I like verb-ing words :)
