It wasn't that we were ever closed because of livejournal it was... far from it. We were always so close because our friends were more important than ourselves. The truth of the matter is that life has beaten us down to the point where our careers and continuation of this god forsaken gene pool have made us forget. Growing up isn't becoming a better successful person. Growing up is loosing our souls.

I always thought that this place kept the window open in our lives. This was the place where we could go and write. We would be free from judgement and we would let others view what was going on in our little world. Now that I think about what you wrote, I start to wonder, if the teenage Carolyn would feel the same way. I am sure I would want to kick my own ass, if my teenage version ever met the one I am now. But I was younger then, and maybe a little foolish. Life is taking something from me, I miss the time where we could put our friends first, and maybe that is what I tried to do by bringing back our windows. Maybe we wouldn't even need this thing if we could keep in touch better. Time is a hard thing to find and it's easy to loose.
