I guess too old is not a chrono- thing but an attitude thing. The kids that came were of the age that I didn't expect either good costumes or good manners.

When somebody comes up with seventeen grease pencil dots on their face and says "I'm a bum. Trick or treat." and races off to get more loot, they shouldn't be out. If geezer-gal in a walker came up with a costume, all smiles and thank-yous, I'd fork over the sugar.
