I don't watch much TV because I am generally much happier with my nerdy little nose in a book. However, I must confess to an unreasonable attachment to "Pushing Daisies." I just applied to be a judge at the Student Biotech Expo in March. Specifically, I requested to judge the written entries--either creative writing or journalism. I hope they take me, because I'm already excited about the event!

Last night, Griffin and I came home to find three slugs on the kitchen floor. What the hell? Who ever heard of a house having slugs?
