I don't watch much TV because I am generally much happier with my nerdy little nose in a book. However, I must confess to an unreasonable attachment to "Pushing Daisies." If you're really into that whole quirky-show-with-excellent-writing-that-inexplicably-ends-because-the-network-was-seized-by-a-fit-of-stupidity thing, try Carnivále. I've already had that experience, I'm sorry (and glad) to say. I also still occasionally mourn the short life of "Dead Like Me."

I KNOW!!!! The exact day before it was canceled I was telling some friends about the marvelousness of PD and said, "But its really freakin' good, so obviously it'll be canceled soon."

Next day, ABC announcement. Boo, boo, boo.

I have been a faithful watcher since day one. I am so offended by the cancelation. The network fools did this with Arrested Development as well.

Alas, the only consolation is to buy the DVDs when they come out and watch it while eating a piece of pie.
