I've finished the first, rough draft of the bothersome scene from yesterday (it will need some serious reworking, I'm afraid, but at least it's done for now) and started the next one.

Excerpt:
She tried to resist with all her might. Despite her previous denial, she remembered all too well how the dream had continued: with Koss's arrival, with him trying to drag her away and with her killing him. She did not want to relive that. It had been disturbing enough at the first time.

That's a great way to bring the past and present together. Well done!

A little bit more than an hour, solid editing and revisions to one scene. Net exchange of words ended with 150 more words. Decent enough:)

Especially with editing, sometimes editing results in net fewer words. Which is not a bad thing, true, but still, it's nice to have more words.

Not a lot today, even by flash fiction standards because of other things I had to do... but both of the ones I have started so far are roughly fleshed out and ready for proper edits and polishing. And given I am concentrating on short fiction, that makes me happy :)

Hey, you've made progress, and that's what counts! Quality over quantity and all that...
