Just a few lines (mostly dialogue) today. It was a busy day where Real Life is concerned. *sigh*

Jack wasn't happy with the fact that Tolaris - or S'task, to call him by his real name - would get away unpunished. He said so. The Vulcan Elders remained unimpressed.

Busy days here, too...

Life has been both busy and bitty for the past two or three days - I think I wrote two sentences over 2 days. But I also took time to go back and read the previous places in my stories where I had described what it is like inside The Halls of Waiting, to be sure I stayed consistent.

This afternoon I finally had an hour to write and the result is that the story is now around 1,080 words long - of which I added about 250 words today. I also took another 30 minutes or so to come up with a name for a new OC :)

That's a great word count; and finding the right name is always hard.

I missed posting yesterday. We had a family gathering for our grandson's baptism. So I only got in a couple of sentences and just never got back to it.

Today I worked on the story for an hour. Very few new words, just a lot of thumb twiddling over some revisions. Blah.

Just a little bit is all that will be happening, I am afraid.
I took an honest look at my calendar and to-do list for November and I. I really didn't realize how much I have going on. We have 14 guests for a party on Sunday and we have house guests the week after and 25 guests for Thanksgiving and I am feeling very overwhelmed. So to be honest I will probably not be around much. But I am going to try as hard as I can to use my relaxation time to write a few sentences and then I will stop in here once in awhile. But as you can see, my daily commitment has flown right out the window. I wish you good luck with your writing and if you don't hear from me, it's not because I'm ghosting you. I'm cooking and cleaning LOL
