November 2024, Day 30 - and so it ends

Nov 30, 2024 21:56

This is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it).
May the magic be with us all!

There'll be a wrap-up tomorrow where we can discuss our accomplishments during this session. Until then, let's make the best of our last day together... for now.

A short description of a Klingon ship today, based on canon facts. Not much, but it was a busy day.

And about ten minutes ago I finished the final tidying on my novel and removed all the highlighting and strike through and underlining. :-) Now I need to export it from Scrivener to Word, and then do the 100 word synopsis and cover letter. And then it will finally be done and ready to shove into Submittable.

As usual since the brain fry some years ago I have not contributed much here during the month, but I do appreciate the community. I've got more writing done in the last few years than I would have without you all.

The frantic knitting is finished - sewn up this morning - so I've managed to finish the report I was working on just in time for the end of the month. 312 words, although it all seems to be either cows or sheep, and I've told you about both (and a dog!) already.

The cows were still hanging about looking scenic in the fields at the start of the track - I always feel like they know they're a tourist attraction, but the youngsters are very cute.

I am sure you are right about the cows :) And hurrah for finishing both the knitting project and the report.

I can never hear too often about cute cows, tbh

Also, congrats to finishing your knitting project!

The month went so fast! It was a lot of fun to chat with everyone when I made it here, and many thanks to Wiseheart for driving the bus all month!

Nothing Thursday with the house full of company, not Yesterday either, as we spent the day with my daughter and boyfriend, visiting places around the city and then spending the night babysitting our son's three little ones at their house.

Today, our last day, I finally got back to my writing and continued where I left off with the little rescue scene and finished that, and decided to stop at that point. I have a relatively free December so will be continuing on until the story is done.

The community really does help - as does the time limit, I think. It has been good to read about your month. Enjoy December!

Wholeheartedly agree, Picowrimo is great for me to write more. And I love this community, sharing our writing and non-writing experiences, and cheering each other on is just so good for heart and soul:)

November really went by so fast this time.

Sounds like you're set up well for a writing December now.
