It sounds like someone is examining whether you are skilled/appropriate enough to proceed with a task. But no, it's to make sure you know how to wear a mask that protects you from tuberculosis. You can smell the saccharine down the hall (literally), then you have to put the mask on, put a big biohazard-type hood on, and read a stupid paragraph ( Read more... )

Molten gold, eh? That's a weird one. No, I can't say I've ever heard it referred to in any specific terms at all. It's usually depicted as a pot of coins, but that doesn't mean much.

I can imagine that molten gold would be... complicated. If it's in the heavy, unweildy cast iron pot it's normally depicted in, that would make it really difficult to transport without spilling; which in turn would be not only less profitable but also potentially painful to get it where you want it to go. Unless your bank is also at the end of the rainbow and accepts molten gold for deposits. Which seems unlikely.
