Rob and I were taking a walk the other day and as I looked down (because I can't see my feet unless I'm walking) I was marveling at how this belly can stretch so far. Biology amazes me.

When I first started reading this post, I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. He sold her stuff without her knowing? Uh oh...

Not feeling so great lately. Sciatica has developed, and this week back at work it's gotten much worse. Each step is excruciating. I move so slowly that I feel like I'm 87 years old.

I don't know how I'm going to get through this month with all that I have to do, and that's scaring me a bit.

Talked to mom last night. Other than some blustering wind and rain, the hurricane never really materialized as such. This is good news. Mom managed to get her shutters up by herself (some are 10 feet tall), and is now questioning taking them back down, debating the chances of another storm soon versus living in a cave. Seems it's hurricane season again. If you've been paying attention to the weather reports, Fay's making a beeline to the SW Florida coast. Funny how weather patterns change. Before a few years ago there hadn't really been any significant hurricanes in that area since Donna or Isabell in the 60s. Typically a storm would have to hook pretty hard ( Read more... )
