I found out yesterday that my "ex-dog" had to be put to sleep this week. He developed a tumor & got suddenly sick. I guess the vet felt it was futile to operate considering his age. He was 10. I had him for about 7 years. At first it didn't really hit me, probably because I haven't seen him in a few years, so there was definitely some detachment...
