After a brief meeting today, I am done with finals!!!!!! Thank goodness. I am so tired of studying all weekend and fighting bronchitis-like symptoms at the same time. It will be so wonderful to have the time to get healthy, play my violin and read and write as much as I want to! Oh. And find a job, if possible. Today is the first day I've felt close to summer. The roommates and I went down to Fairhaven and ate ice cream in the sun--no wonder I've been hard-pressed to start my homework!  I just got my prompts for the SSHG exchange and my imagination is off and running!!! I swear I have a plot already outlined for one of them....it would probably be good to step back (and return to my ever-growing pile of schoolwork) and mull over them for a while. Still, I am so excited to return to writing after so long!

 I've always been really horrible at keeping a journal. Perhaps I can blame it on reading all those Dear America books in which a summary of the day's events is necessary to keep the reader informed, while it has always felt like a chore to reiterate the events I had mostly likely already narrated to my mom.
