Totally get the point! I tend to forget half my vocabulary when I'm drunk. Maybe if Martha were to get drunk they'd keep her?

I hear rumours she is hanging around for next series, just there will be *another* companion as well, so she (Martha) won't be so major. Dunno how much is true though :(

Yeah, I've gotta say that I didn't exactly love the episode either. It was good in its way, but there seemed to be a lot of not-much-happening and the whole 'I DO believe in fairies!' bit with the doctor just seemed a little unbelievable. (Time travel and immortality? Toootally believable...) And especially seeing as how good the previous episode was - and how very slashy - I'd kinda hoped this one would be just as good. I did love the whole we'll-stay-together-forever bit with the doctor and master though. :D That so should've happened dammit! (Or he should at least get a male companion next series!) And there really wasn't nearly enough doctor/jack interaction at all. :(

ALSO, I had seriously not realised how old Spike was!!

I think a male companion would be good! Because he has had male companions as a kinda side-companion before, like Mickey and that other dude from series 1, and in the classic Who as well, and if Martha's still gonna be in some eps, I dont think two female companions would really work.

Spike is majorly old, it's really quite creepy really, considering how many 13 year old girls, myself included, were desperately in love with him in Buffy, when he was nearly 40... I think the bleached hair must have made him look more youthful. And those cheekbones...

And yes, he really does look young for his age...

So NSFW *cough* but so pretty! And so not real *sob* :(

Also I was telling my mum about the new companion and she said all sympathetically, 'so no male companion then?' I fear she may know me too well! Even my dad's mocked me about the likliness of Harry & Draco being gay... hmmm...
