I just lost my big Plecostomus and I feel like an idiot. This fish was over 15 inches long. I've never had a problem with water chemistry in my life and when he died today we checked the water chemistry and the nitrates, pH, and ammonia were so far out I could have probably used his water as a cleaner. I seem to be slowly getting better. I get around the house pretty easy now. I am now responding to the treatment the way I am supposed to and am having hopes and dreams of going back to work. It appears that on top of my chronic problem I had pneumonia. Treatment of that has left me a little better. Still need Oxygen. Being off work I am sleeping 8 to 12 hours a night. I've not slept more than 4 to 6 hours in years. This could help. As I avoid daylight as part of my treatment I greatly look forward to going out and driving around ( Read more... )

This has not been a good day. The dog barked to go out, so my wife went downstairs to let him out, missed the last step and broke her right ankle. She has cerebral palsy and her left side doesn't work very well. She walks well normally but the right leg takes most of the weight.
