This is Morris' (pignacious) daughter. I have some very sad news for all of his friends he has made throughout the years. My father got admitted to the hospital January 6th due to a collapsed lung, which was common with his disease. Well, we found out why our first batch of baby bettas weren't growing properly and most of them died. The electric aquarium heater was cracked, full of water, and appeared to be giving them a nasty shock whenever it came on. I've always liked peach colored bettas, but have never raised any. Something always happened, usually the male didn't seem to know what to do. My daughter appeared to be somewhat more successful at first. The male took days to figure it out of course, made a very inadequate nest, and beat the female so badly she later died. My daughter has taken over taking care of my fish since I have been ill and is having a ball. She has cleaned and got all 3 of my 55 gal tanks cleaned up and I now have a tank full of various gouramis.
