That's all well and good and all, Unless we're going with the red truth, in which case we had a confirmation on "Jessica's corpse" and that there was no one hidden in the room when she died. Plus it was a closed room; if she left the master key in the fake corpse's pocket, how would she have escaped from the room herself with the door locked?

No, no, the true answer is very obvious: Gohda did it. Think about it, he was there, he had a master key, he was the last one to see them alive. And we know how he loves to juggle sharp objects...

Well, if you recall, Rosa and the others were kind of in a state of shock, so they didn't think anything but "Jessica's dead" when that happened. Taking advantage of the state of confusion, she fled the scene. Hey, the novel didn't say they were crowding the entry/exit point of the room.
