I have lots of pictures to post. The last weekend was Michael's wedding which will be the first set of pictures, then I spent a week at the beach with my family which is the second half of the pictures. No real news to report. As of this posting I am still unemployed, though I have an interview tomorrow. I'll post again soon... In the meantime ( Read more... )

I know the sight of a tiny cute red snapper all too well. I've caught quite a few tossers.

Did you get sea-sick?

No, I was fine. But I think the seas were pretty calm this day. I bet they're not now though, thanks to Arlene. How are you doing?

Pretty good. Haven't had time to do much picture taking or posting. If ever I'm in Birmingham visiting my brother, I'll give you a call.

You should. We could get Morgan and do something.

Peppered through my life of unemployment and mom-living-with I do have fun from time to time. I am in birmingham, though. IM me sometime.

The house is in Fort Morgan, but we went fishing through Gulf Shores. It is fun, but expensive. It cost over $800 just to pay the captain for a six hour trip, not including tip (the deckhand's wages) and the cleaning fees (to get the fish edible). The only reason I went is because my Grandmother offered to pay. Worth it though, especially if someone offers to fork over the cash for you.

I used to live in Fort Morgan. Good fishing there. I haven't been down to Gulf Shores since Ivan so I hope it looked better than post-hurricane.
I am jealous of the beauiful weather down there now since it has been 50 degrees where I am all month.

I remember I saw you last year when you were working at the movie theater and my sister and I went to see Harry Potter. There is some damage in Gulf Shores still, but mostly to the kind of rickity old buildings that may have been uninsured or which wouldn't be first in line for construction crews. It's nice though, and I think people are starting to come back for vacation.

i think it's funny that you're wearing a humane society tshirt while holding the snapper by the mouth with pliers.

Yeah, the irony of that hadn't struck me until you pointed it out. I did apoligize to the fish though. Poor Mr. Fish, but that's what he gets for being so delicious.
