[Oh you know her, Kevas- it'll be a few minutes before she arrives. She gets distracted with the changing doors and all. Eventually she'll come in, Vorpal blade in hand.]
[Kevas is taking a small break when she enters. His swords rest against the wall next to him. When he sees Alice he offers her a friendly smile and waves.]
[She glances to the sword in her hand and smiles just a tad.]
To be quite frank I have very little formal training, though before my father passed he did insist on teaching me some fundamentals in basic swordplay, and to be frank with you I do think that's part of the reason I survived the duel with the Jabberwocky. Going in there blind would have been quite terrible, you know.

[She bows to him, then hefts her blade.]

[He assumes she does since she wasn't swinging it around like a fool at the party but it's just safe to ask.]
