If we're starting from the beginning, I really, really liked this guy named Spider-Man. I wanted to ask him out to Homecoming, but you know. He was sorta-kinda a superhero, so I couldn't get to talk to him easily. ... I ended up going to it with my best friend from childhood.

But at Homecoming? My other guy friend admitted that he'd had a crush on me since we were kids - all while his girlfriend, who happens to be my best friend can hear him. Discretion was never part of his vocab, I'll admit, but... it's still shocking.

My best friend nearly cuts off my friendship with her because of this, and my date wants to be my boyfriend at the same time... I mean, it all got better eventually, but I'm just cracking the surface here. You want more?

He's eating this up, too.
