Yikes. What a day of opposites.

On one hand, the space shuttle discovery was launched without a hitch. Maybe I'm a nerd, but I watched the last half hour of the countdown, and held my breath through the whole launch.  It was breathtaking. I don't remember alot of launches when I was a Little Brooke... According to Jeremy, they're still bitter over the Korean war. WTF? Basically they're like, "we're aiming at you and you can't do anything about it, otherwise we're going to launch 'em, anyway."

I didn't know there was a space shuttle launch today. boo. I totally would have watched.

yes korean war. and we also told them to stop developing nuclear technology. north korea is like a surly teenager. when you tell it not to do something, they will do it and then glare at you to make a point saying "you can't stop me even if you try."
