So, this year has been a bit of a crap fest for me. There were a lot of things happening with my family, school was uninspiring, Adrian was sick and I was just generally down in the dumps most of the time.

That's awesome. And you both look so good. It seems like usually when someone gets a picture of a celebrity, either the person or the celebrity looks terrible.

How do you get to go on all these paid-for conferences? What was this one for?

PS Does anyone think Patrick Wilson looks just like a slightly better-looking Will Arnett?

Oh man, I totally can see the Will Arnett resemblance now that you mention it.
I get to go to the conferences because I worked at the Health Law Institute this summer. The one in Victoria was put on by HLI for the students to present their summer work. The one in Philly was for the American Society of Human Genetics since my work was on the regulation of direct to consumer genetic testing I fit within their ethical legal social issues guidelines. My boss is really into us getting to go places, it's awesome.
